I met Marissa by accident about ten years ago. The stylist I had been seeing at the time was out sick the day I had an appointment. I was given the option to reschedule or see Marissa. Thankfully, I chose to see Marissa...she has changed my life! I have never worked with a stylist who is so in tune with me. I am someone who wants to "change it up" very frequently! Marissa has a way of sensing what I want even if I can't put it into words or find a picture of what I exactly have in mind. She has also (many times) talked me "off the ledge" when I was convinced I needed to do something radical that she knew. I would regret. Even so, she has been so patient, and so skillful at keeping me looking my best as I have gone from one hair color or style to the next. Thinking back on it, she and I have been on an incredible hair journey all these years! I have had long hair, short hair, then long hair again, bangs, no bangs, layers, no layers, worn my hair straight, embraced my natural curls, done all over color, highlights and everything in between. Working with Marissa, I feel I have a fairy Godmother with me through every life event, special occasion, or just my daily routine. I always come out of her salon looking and feeling my best, and am my most relaxed and refreshed self ready to take on anything that comes my way.
