Marissa Lax
Hello everyone! I’m Marissa, stylist and owner of Lax Studio. I’ve been a stylist since 2007 & opened Lax Studio in 2018.
I love doing hair and getting the opportunity to connect with so many different people. I am especially passionate about blondes, bridal styling, and extensions.
When I’m not at the salon, you will find me hanging out with my husband and three kids.
Taylor Cornett
Hey! I’m Taylor Cornett! I’ve always felt drawn to anything beauty related. Once I started focusing on hair I realized it was what I was meant to do! My favorite services to provide are blonding of any type & extensions services; but I love performing any service that makes my client feel beautiful in their own way! Making people’s hair dreams come true is the most fulfilling part of what I do! I enjoy building meaningful relationships with my all my clients & getting to be apart of their lives!
When I’m not doing hair, I love spending time with my son, Fiancé & family!

Hannah Malec
Hi, I’m Hannah! What excites me about being in the beauty industry is all of the amazing people I get to interact with on a daily basis. I love having brand new clients in my chair and learning about their lives for the first time, and I love catching up with returning ones! My favorite services to do behind the chair are blonding, dimensional brunettes, and lived in color!

About Lax Studio,
founded by
Marissa opened a small hair studio in 2018 and named it Lax Studio. She focused on the services she loved to do- timeless color, bridal styling, and extensions. With a lot of help from Marissa’s husband Keith on the business side, Lax Studio has consistently grown each year.
In the fall of 2022 the salon studio started to feel very small. It was time to move from a studio to an actual salon. It didn’t take long before we came across the perfect salon space located in downtown Middleton. We are thrilled to be in our new salon doing what we love every day.
